Cerro Kennedy and Los Pinos
It’s the area’s high-mountain outing. Local guides put Cerro Kennedy at around 2,800 m and say that on clear days you can see the Sierra’s snow peaks and the Caribbean. The road is long, cold at the top, and usually done by 4×4 or motorbike.

It’s cold up there
You go from Minca’s warmth to mountain cold in a few hours: bring a proper jacket, a rain layer and something warm. Clouds can hide the view.
